Just shake the Tamiya's box hard enough and the 109 falls out painted!

Awesome!... Great presentation too, with the pilot and all. ICM does make some nicely detailed figures. I love the Tamiya Emil. It practically builds itself. Thanks for sharing.

Hey Stik, cool info thanx.
I would think it may look like a "what is that squichy feeling in my pants" pose after a close encounter with a Spit or something, but Muncheberg was no amature LOL
The figure comes with the ICM 1/48 BF 109F , there are a few mechanics working and high ranking officers standing around looking "buzy"
I read somewhere that the wingroot fairings were the same color as the fuselage sides, when they applied the mottle to tone the RLM 65 down a bit they sometimes also sprayed the wingroots with mottle.
Beautiful build! I thought the pilot was thinking, "Is that a grape jelly stain on my britches?"
Theuns Thanx, it seems he is tightning the legstraps of his chute harnass. Theuns

Actually that is how you attach the leg straps to the main buckle on the harness. That appears to be a single point release harness and they are threaded thru the torso straps one at a time to the center/main buckle. They are size adjusted by squatting after attaching them and pulling down on the free end of both leg straps at the same time.
BTW, that is a gorgeous build and where did you find that pilot figure? I love the pre flight action pose.

Hello!
That Messerschmitt looks really nice! I like it a lot. One question though: isn't the light colour of the sides of the fuselage going out too far on the wing? I haven't researched this too much, but I thought the wing/fuselage fillets should also be painted the colours of the wing top?
Thanks for sharing and good luck with your next projects
