Excellent job, those VF-27 Hellcats really stand out.  I like the exhaust staining too.

Outstanding job! I think the Hellcat will always have a special place in my heart. My grandparents brought me several Hellcat Models back in the late 70s and early 80s.

I think I like yours displayed without the cowling as much, if not more. Great job on weathering as well. The photoetch really pops. Like I said, great job. Thanks for sharing, Raymond

Very very nicely done. You have definitely done some excellent work on your Hellcat. I am currently finishing up the Eduard 1/72 version and it is indeed an excellent kit. I also have the 1/48 F6F-3 in my stash.  As far as detail, accuracy, fit and overall engineering Eduard Hellcats are by far the best Hellcat out there. Thank You for sharing your remarkable Hellcat.

Thanks again guys.

Like Joe Rix mentioned the Eduard Hellcat is one of the best kit out there. I too have no issue with it. it went together very smoothly. The only thing is it comes with some photetched parts and they are quite small to work with.

Looks good, cnq!    I just see an error with the seat. The photo etch part should not be flat on the bottom of the seat but rather a 50ish degree angle against the seat back.
