I mentioned this very same kit and the Spit Mk.II in another thread. I got the 190 at Hobbytown for $27 and the Spit at a show for $20. The Spit does not have a full engine like the 190 but both are home runs again. The detail on the 190 is fantastic. As an OOB build with some tinkering it can be quite a display piece. I agree that a resin pit would elevate the wow factor. The decals are also very nice and look to be of excellent quality.

Now if they would come out with a Dora!

WOW

I have been reading wonderful reviews of this kit and Revell Germany at Nuremberg Hobby Show told a friend of mine he will "LOVE" this model !!!

I too want to get it and stash it as I have the 1/32nd ME-109G-10 and the new Spitfire both awesome kits.

the ME-410 is a contender for a future release hope they choose to do it soon!!!!!!

I probably won't start on this one for a while, but I picked up the new kit yesterday, and for less than $30, all I can say is, Wow! I read some reviews, and a great comparison between it and the Hasegawa one, and while it's not the level of detail it would be if Tamiya made it, I am pretty impressed.

The armaments are slide-molded, there are different variants for the wheels, four canopy choices (two versions, and two parts each - one for open and one for closed), and plenty of bombs, as this was a fighter-bomber version.

I might wait for an AM cockpit to spice up the detailing, but the kit one would be just fine, especially if it were closed up. I'll probably get some fabric belts for it, too.

One of the coolest things? A complete engine, and the parts are nice and crisp.

I've never really built a 1/32 plane before (aside from the Phantom Mustang and my first aircraft model - the old Matchbox Dauntless, but that was 20 years ago), so I am looking forward to spending quite a bit of time with this one.

The Tamiya 1/32 Corsair and Mustang are on the "someday" list, but for a sub-$30 price, I have to say I'm really happy with the quality in the Revell. I'll do a WIP once I start it, but again, that's going tone a while unless I find an AM cockpit set soon and get hot to trot on it.
