I've built their "E" model and it is not a tail sitter after its completed.

Rory,

I haven't done their E but I've done plenty of Revell F/A-18C's and had no problems.  Is the nose cone a separate part like it is on the C model?  If so, build up the rest leaving the cone off, see how it sits, and you can add weight if needed.

Does the instruction mention using weights? If not, there's your answer. I've done Hornet kits or two and I know for a fact they're not tail sitters.
