My only disappointment is that Capt Andrea seems to have a bit bigger butt than she did at the beginning of this years long epistle, but I guess that's to be expected.

Okay, now I get it- you can see the smaller images but can't click to see them full-size. I tried posting the images without the url tags and got what you're seeing with every pic. There's some f@kery embedded in the post from other sites that auto-code some kind of link into path of the pic. I tried typing the coded url in afresh, as well as the url without the html tags- no luck. There are simply not enough editing options available in FSM's edit window- sorry!

Chuk, when I click on the pictures in your last two posts the same image comes up every time, different image in the first recent post is of a bunch of aftermarket.  Here's what shows in the most recent post:

Anything new with the MiG?

Man, I somehow missed out on this latest build until now! I didn't even realize that you had moved up to Washington. Beautiful picture of Mt. Rainier. (Now where did I put my new hiking boots?) At least now you're away from the co-worker who had way too much free time on his hands!

As usual, great job on the model! I'll have to keep a sharper lookout!

I'm still waiting for my "mystery project", so I've pressed on with the LanceR.  You do a lot with scrap wire, brass tube and styrene if you put your mind to it!

Progress!  Here's the latest from my bench- enjoy!  It may be a while before the next update- I've got another project that will sideline the LanceR for a bit.  I'll let you know more about that as soon as I can- cheers!

Life after a big move throws a lot of surprises at you, along with all of life's regular highs and lows.  Just in modeling I've gone through periods of not even looking at the bench, to hours of studying the subject and subsequent squalls of charging ahead and then banging my against the table.  It's been about 7 weeks since my last post, so here's a long one for you.  Forgive me if I reiterate some basics- my original mission remains to instruct and entertain, and help grow our beloved hobby.  Cheers!

I've missed your great WIP/tutorials on building your aircraft kits and I'm delighted that you're back!!

I know there's a lot I'll be learning regarding your builds and, from now on, I'm gonna be taking notes .

As a plodding plastic kit builder (both ships and aircraft) I'll never even approach the skill set that you and many others on FineScale possess but it's always interesting to watch your progress and ogle your "girls" .

BTW, until I moved up to Salem, OR I'd lived in So. Cal. for 38 years. Most of one of those years was boat sitting aboard my boss' 42' sloop (chained to the dock for back rent) in slip Y10 at King Harbor Marina in Rodondo Beach. That was in '73 - the good old days!
