The quickest way to find a 48th Mi-24 is to go to http://squadron.com/

They have both the Revell of Germany kit and Mini Hobby kits available and for under $20 each.

I think it is Out of Production now, but you might try the Revell or Monogram 1/48 Mi-24 Hind D. I have one and can't wait to build it, but there are a few other priorities first. It looks like a good clean kit--not much flash, if any, and the molds are nice with LOTS of detail.

Revell of Germany I think just released a 1/48 Mi 24 Hind. I'm not sure if it is a rerelease of the Monogram Hind, but you might try it. I have been IMPRESSED with the kits that they have just recently been releasing (i.e. SH-3 Sea King (rerelease of Hasegawa, and the CH-53GS/G rerelease of Revell 1980's kit).
Anyone else know???
