Hi all, just finished off this one. This is it's second paint job, the first one was going to be with the huge sword fish decal which covers nearly from nose tip to tail tip but I had big troubles with the decals not setting right, even with micro sol, so I stripped it back and did the alternate scheme for the kit, pretty boring looking I guess but it has grown on me.
This is a "Limited Edition" kit and has quite a bit of photo etch included and Cartograf decals. It builds nice as well and I would definately do this kit again and highly recommend it, although it is my first 1/48 Mig-21 and I can not compare to other kits.
Kit- Academy-1/48 MIG-21MF "POLISH AIR FORCE"
Paints used- Tri-camo scheme Italeri Light Ghost Gray, Medium gray and Gunship gray.
Other paints used - Tamiya, vallejo and Akan acrylics and Gunze Mr. Metalizers and AK Extreme metal
Johnson's Klear, Flory Dark Dirt wash, Oil paint for fluid leaks and Vallejo Satin varnish.
