bvallotI didn't realize the Yellow Wing scheme had insignia up on the cowling as well?? Interesting. That 1:72 stuff is just a tad too tiny for me. Nicely done. =]
yeah, Ive seen profiles that have the roundel in a couple of diffrent places up front....on the cowling, or right in front of the cockpit
who knows?!

Now that I'm here, where am I??
On the bench:
Tamiya F4U-1 Kenneth Walsh
Looks great! I have always loved the golden age paint schemes like that. Have done several biplane fighters, and have a devastator I plan to do in that scheme.

Nice work Owl.
No bucks, no Buck Rogers
Very nice job. There's always something appealing about those yellow wings.
thank you!
Very nice! I like the easy build kits.
I figure I'd share some of the builds Ive done while I was away, and first up is the 1/72 quick-build wildcat form hobbyboss. I built this guy straight out of the box, and decided to add a bit of color to my collection.
Painted with testors silver rattle can, and those little square enamel jars
