First efforts - Tamiya Spitfire
Posted by Limacharlie48 on Wednesday, August 19, 2015 7:50 PM

After a 23-year break (N scale trains) I am back to doing something I loved! Started in several months ago, and have found this forum to be not only a great resource but also home to great,  friendly and very helpful folks.

So here is my first aircraft since I was a kid in the 70's, the markings are a flight of fancy, but I am proud of it. Tamiya Spitfire MkVB.

Let me know what your think......Smile

Welcome Sign  Welcome back Limacharlie.

After 23 years you haven't lost a thng.  Your Spitfifre looks stellar.  My first attempts after I re-entered the hobby 2 years ago where no where near as good.

Hi, L.C.

23 years since you went AWOL??? You didn't skip a beat, the Spit looks really great, interior detailing, camo and decaling all are first rate. Looking forward to more from you, thanks for the post and photos.

Very impressive, especially after the long hiatus. Thanks for sharing...

Cannot thank you all enough for the kind words, I have learned plenty from studying many of your builds while lurking here for some time.....Big Smile

After seeing all the excellent work you folks generate, well I have to say making that first post of my work was a little tough!
