Oh my ! Your f-86 is absolutely gorgeous. I sure hope mine comes out near as well as yours.
I am working on a 1/48 Hsg. Mad Mig Marine piloted bt John Glen right now. I have it primed with Alclad grey and used Alclad black base but I had to remove the black base because I must have got the "bad batch' black. It just would not dry after 3 days, but 91% alcohol took it right off leaving the primer in tact. So we start over with my tried and true Krylon gloss black for a base coat. So much for a quick and simple build.
The Hsg, has a nicely detailed exterior and i just wanted to build a relatively simple kit because I wanted to work on the varigated NMF paint scheme. Some day I would like to tackle a 1/32 like yours. Again a beautiful job .
