Great job on No.1. Nice job on the weathering.

Hurrah! I love the look there, other than the anti-glare panels just simple, clean, beautiful aluminum!

Merry Christmas to all you guys, hope you were all busy either building or ogling new plastic. Finished the first of the Jugs, this was number 3 in the program. Thank you all for comments on the blog. Yes I built them all up to a point and then started concentrating on one at a time. This is the first one built and it was number 3 on the build schedule.
Nice! So I assume you decalled one completely before moving on to the other 2? I can imagine how confusing it might have been if you decalled on side of one plane, then left it to set and moved on to the next...
They look so good it'd be a shame to rush and mess something up so I'm glad to see you doing this. Still looking forward to seeing them all done up.
Thanks again guys for kind words. Well It looks like I'll not have enough time to finish all four by this week end so I am going to have to push through with 3. Just need to weather them up a bit and add all the final bits, should just make it by Friday.
Incredible work on the engine plumbing! Nice to see 4 Jugs at once, looking forward to the next update.

Hey JJ, just thought I'd throw out a few options there but you've already almost done with 1-3, I love how they look as is.
Gamera Have you guys checked Zotz decals out of Mexico? A bit pricey but excellent decals and they have three sheets with about 2 N's and 3 D's on each sheet. Set 1 Set 2 Set 3 Your wife/girlfriend may not approve of some of the nose art though!

Hi Gamera, thanks for this, i actually saw them but I have already built one with the Black/Yellow tail and I was looking for something a bit...different. In the end my number three turned out nice enough but my number 4 will really stand out it has a Blue tail (not with the yellow lightning bolt). I found a reasonably nice colour pic of it and had the decals made up proffesionally so I hope I do it justice.
I am duly impressed JJ. You certainly are doing each Jug justice. Really sweet work. That is definitely one grand entrance back into the show.
I am very much enjoying you WIP and you Sir are and expert at applying Alclad. Wow what a gorgeous finish on each plane .
I'm finally retired. Now time I got, money I don't.
Nice Jugs!
I like that working jig, too.

Thanks for kind words Gents, those building jigs are made by a mate pf mine here in South Africa and he sells them for 28.50 USD plus shipping.
Whats better than a pair of nice Jugs?
Two pairs of nice Jugs!
Those are sweet!
And YOU JJ, are a madman!

I saw "Jugs" on the title and quickly opened the thread.
Always amazed at production lines. Would really like to try that one of these days.
I love the jig you got. Did you make it yourself? I wouldn't mind having one myself.

Nice to see a -N being built, and a fine job on four of them to boot. Really looking good.
I have a ProModeler -N in my stash, and yes, there are not many decals out there for it. So, it sits in the stash 'till I feel motivated to build NG bird.
