A new mold B-29 would have been industry big news.  $70?....ouch......insane for a couple extras and new decals.  Your better off finding an original 70's release off ebay that also has the Enola option.....and the when the molds were still new.

Paul is right, it is a repackage. Revell is offering this as the Enola Gay. It has plugs for the upper and lower gun turrets to represent the Silverplate version of the B-29's. Comes with both types of Atomic bombs and regular style bombs. it also has the two types of props and the gun turrets if you want to build a regular 29.

It is the Monogram 1/48 scale kit repackaged. It's still worth the money they're asking. Imagine how much Tamiya or Trumpeter would ask for if they issued a new one!

Check Revell's website. I am pretty sure that it is a rebox of the last iteration of the kit that included the un cuffed props as well as all the original parts.

Scalemates has it as a rebox with new decals under Monogram.  No mention of pe as in a Pro-Modeler version.

Saw an ad on Squadron for the Revell 1/48 B-29, but what caught my eye was the MSRP of around $70. Is this the same old mold dressed up again, or a new tool? Hobby Lobby has carried one of the older versions for months now at half that price. What gives here?
