Airfix itself operates a direct dealership in the US. Just go to www.airfix.com and click on "Shop." You can choose to have the prices in dollars or pounds.

I've ordered several kits direct from Airfix, and the service has been good. The prices are a little higher than Squadron's; shipping expenses probably even out the difference.

Youth, talent, hard work, and enthusiasm are no match for old age and treachery.

I already asked my wife for the 1/72 B-17 for Christmas. It is supposed to be released in November.

The 3-D rendering of the B-17 is impressive. http://www.airfix.com/uk-en/news/workbench/boeing-bristol-blenheim-be2c-and-more/

If only it were 1/48.

Can't wait for the P-40 to come out!

Steve

Building a kit from your stash is like cutting a head off a Hydra, two more take it's place.

I'm really hoping they release the Defiant as a night fighter.  The black scheme on their 1/72 kit looks awesome!

I build 1/48 scale WW2 fighters.

Have fun.

Ordered the Defiant today from Modelhobbies in the UK. Their shipping prices seemed a bit better than e-models. Can't wait to have it in my hands!

NEW AIRFIX RELEASES

just thought i'd let everyone know.

i received an e-mail from "e-models" in England today. They announced the release and

availability of the 1/48 Boulton Paul Defiant a/c and the 1/72 Blenheim Bomber !! as well as some other kits.

Hopefully I can find one of the companies in the States that may have it.

BUT

in the past I have ordered from e-models and they have been reasonable not to mention the 20% off because of the VAT tax does help!!
