A Quartet of Airacobras!
Posted by Aggieman on Monday, March 7, 2016 9:27 AM

There seems to be a lot of threads regarding Airacobras currently running, relatively speaking.  I am here to add a few more.

I spent the last seven months building every P-39 kit I had in my stash, a grand total of 4.

Three of these are 1/48 while the 4th is 1/32.  I will post a single picture of all 4 here but will devote individual topics to each of the four with many more photographs.

The kits are the old Monogram P-39, Eduard's P-39 Profipack, Accurate Miniature's P-400 (which I learned early on was actually a repop of Eduard's kit), and Revell's repop of Special Hobby's P-39D.

Very nice collection! I espcially like seeing the RAF & Desert ones. Those are schemes not commonly modeled.

Wow, really nice collection! Great work on all of them.

Although I wonder, I think there's a law somewhere that says Air-A-Cuttie has to be built if anyone does more than one P-39! Wink

What a collection of Airacobras! I've always wanted to get the Eduard kit though.
