She be up on her feet. Working on a pin system to get the folded wings mounted solid...what a PITA!!!

You have some nice MIGs there.

I'm sure that Artem Mikoyan would be happy.

My decals for my F2A-1 Brewster Buffalo nearly all disintigrated. I ended up painting all markings on with paint. Fortunatly I had some leftover numbers from a F4F that I hadn't thrown away. Used lots of tape and gave myself some brutal eyestrain and headaches.

Chasing the ultimate build.

You could always switch to ships or armor but the that would bring a whole new dimension of frustrations lol.

Armor doesn't much do it for me....I've got some ships on deck for this winter!

Ships?  I'll believe it when I see it....

Decals are done...what a suckfest that was! I'll have to make a trip to the LHS to get some blue, to match...got some touchin up to do.

Also...I don't have a WIP for these...but I got em painted, glossed and decaled yesterday. No decal issues with these!

I bought the exact same decal sheet last year. Which means i should be starting work on my Hawkeye in or around 2021.  lol.

Great job on the painting, btw.

If you're talkin 'bout the "Authentic Decals" set....be warned! They suck!

I've had experience in the past...they come on a solid sheet...meaning you have to cut out each marking...and they want to shatter, so give em a clear coat before trying to use em. The Hasegawa decal sheet has most of the markings I will need, so I'll be using those as much as possible (as much as I hate Hasegawas decals).Tongue Tied

I have to retract this statement...a little! The decals are not printed on a single sheet....I was thinking of Peddinghaus Decals. These are a bit brittle though, and they do not like curves at all.

I started with the Hasegawa decals for the tail...Angry

Things went horribly wrong on that one. The other was fine though.

Had to use the Authentic Decals markings. Each stripe is an individual decal...the stripe with the "AG" broke into 4 pieces, but the rest went on fine. The color is different from the Hasegawa decals, so I had to strip the other tail.

Both are complete and just fine looking....moving along!

Nice work.  Would look perfect on a cat, waiting for the shooter to turn her loose.
