1/32 Revell F4U Corsair
Posted by sbemo13 on Thursday, April 21, 2016 9:05 AM

Why stop now, in last month in a half I have comleted Sea Venom, Beaufighter, and Corsiar, all in 32 scale. Of course they all have issues. Ironically, I have Trumpeter F4U bought wanted to "quick build" the Revell issue. I did use a few parts from Verlinden cockpit. I found original decals from 1970's issue in my stash. This model was Revell Germany kit. Shawn B.

Great work, especially on the colors.

Go for it, pretty easy build, it is harder to bend wings though. I came within fractions of an inch knocking one of wings off a few times. Shawn B.

Very nice build with great weathering.  Keep up the good work and keep the pics coming.

Super work on the Revell Corsair!  I started working on that kit a couple of months ago but I shelved it a couple of weeks ago.  I just wasn't happy with my work on it.  Your Corsair looks great and it just might give me the inspiration I need to keep going with it.  If I'm lucky, it'll turn out half as good as yours!

Thank you Eric, I appreciate it. It's easy to lose momemtum on a model isn't it? I built this kit for 2 reasons: 1. I built it when I was maybe 12 2. I wanted to build a kit that didn't have 600 parts . I hope you continue your kit. Please post if you do. (btw, I have to admit I have between 20 and 30 models i started and didn't finish) Shawn Bemo
