I couldn't stand to break up the lines of this, one of my favorite aircraft. So, I closed her up. A pretty good kit. Finished OOB with Tamiya acrylics, and my own custom mix for the Violet Brun. I'm thinking about building at least one engine and display it next to the jet.

Fit was OK until the gun bay doors, which are clearly not engineered to be displayed closed. I had fun though....

There is something to be said about the look of a Swallow, looks fast just sitting on the ground. Thanks for the heads up about the gun bay cowling, someday mine will look half as good as yours. And thanks to Gold hammer and my wife I will prove it LOL. Great job! I like it.

Nice looking 262, did a fine mottling scheme and looks like an excellent paint mix solution. Interesting the engineers used the same hinged canopy as on the 109, given the speeds a jet would be traveling, you'd think a sliding canopy would have been much more desirable.

On the Tarmac: 1/48 Revell P-38

In the Hanger: A bunch of kits
