No one...it's one of those a planes that no one seems to have gotten 'right' In quarter scale, even in 72nd, although the Italeri kit in Braille scale is VERY nice...

I built the Hobbyboss kit a few years ago. Really nice model.

Pros: Supposed to be the most recent, latest and greatest kit.

Lots of ordinance, I hung mine with two pods and about a zillion Hellfires.

Really good molding and fit.

Cons: Expensive, Squadron used to run it every now and then at half price, haven't seen it marked down like that in years though.

Hobbyboss molded the landing gear detail into the underside of the upper wing parts. On mine this created depressed areas over the wells. And it's hard to putty these over without removing the detail from the top of the wing.

I currently have the Italeri A-10(not quite a "C") kit. I have temporarily shelved it due to issues that I discovered while building, and I havent figured out yet how to fix them. The main wing fairing does not match up at all, and left a HUGE step that needs to be removed. the problem being, to remove such a large step will likely leave a hole in the fairing that would be quite difficult to fill. The reason I call it "not quite a C" is because as the review in Cybermodeler pointed out, the cockpit is that of the "A+" model, it does not have the glass cockpit of the actual "C". If this does not bother you, then I'm sure it will look fine, if you are into accuracy, you will have to do some scratchbuilding to get it there.

The Tamiya A-10 is one of their older 1/48 jet offerings dating from the late 70s or so, and is not new by any stretch. To my knowledge it has not been retooled since first being issued. The Italeri kit is far more current, but I believe that I remember reading about some issues in the engine area, eaither fit or detail accuracy.
