Mig-29 Fulcrum
Posted by Darkowski74 on Thursday, June 30, 2016 6:06 PM

Hi all!

Here's my Mig-29 Fulcrum in the Polish Air Force.

It's my first modern military aircraft.

The kit was cheap, with lots of inaccuracies and fitting issues.

I built it Out of Box, but added some LEDs to the engines to spark the model up a bit

More pics on my Google+ page. I hate the photobucket site...

Very nice, especially the pilot painting and the lighting. While the model is well done overall, those things really stood out to me. Your album is well worth a visit!

Which kit is it, so that we may avoid the inaccuracies and fit issues you mention?

WOW! Really nice paint job. I have never tried doing that kind of paint job. Maybe someday. It does not matter if the model has some  inaccuracies, all that really matters is that you are happy with the results and that you derived satisfaction building the kit.

Your comments and questions are always welcome.

Nicely done. I admire your free hand camo. You did a right masterful job of it.

Thank you fellow modellers!

I forgot to mention that the kit had also raised panel lines.
I removed them all and scribed them instead.

I also had problems with decals. Many have that frosted look as if not adhering to the surface properly. I blame it on the decals - not the ''guy'' who put them on :P
I used two after-market decals and they adhered properly.

Very well done. I am a Mig fan also. Nice to see more modern stuff once in a while.
