The Real 1/1 Monogram B-52D!

Very nicely done, Max. It looks right at home in your museum, nice tribute to an old war horse like the -52 was/is. Thanks for the post and photos, interesting story about Monogram visiting for the measurements.

Very cool sir.  Not often you get to see the exact plane the model is based on.  That is a great story.  I built that kit years ago and hung it from my ceiling also.  It was pretty impressive next to the B-36.

Wow, that's neat!  I would love to see your museum.  You do some very fine work!  The B52 is pretty big.  I opted to get the 1/144 due to space restrictions.  Biggest one I have is the 1/48 C-130, with it's 33" wing span.
