Thanks for that info.  Very helpful as I plan my 1/32 F-15E build.

Yes,  I had seen the Reedoak website before.  The 3D printing may be the future of figures for sure. But quite expensive.  Their figures are really amazing.

Hi Wirraway

all I can say is he made me an offer, I didnt give him a price, I then decide if I wnat to do it, as you can see I did, this was built with adding 3 more aircraft to the deck, possably F-18 and another F-14 but we will see

Hi Wilbur

many thanks for your questions

the figures are from REEDOAK http://reedoak.com/ in France, these are a rubber composite and not resin, they are made on a 3D printer, just brilliant.

the paint process is base coat white, then dark grey sprayed from below upwards to catch the darker areas, then spray the main colours following that up with a brush picking out the individual colours, I used the badger sotar 20/20 to do this.

I used Tamiya paint for spraying then vajello for the brush work.

the F-15 was sprayed with Future and then matt coated after the decals were applied

Just beautiful. My head hurts just thinking about the hours that went in to this one. If its not too personal, what would a client pay for something like this ?

This is a beautiful job.

May I ask, where the figures are from?  The painting process...What paint did you use and did you airbrush Future your paint job before decals and flat after?

Thanks for any insight on this top notch build.

WOW....that's AWESOME. Fantastic work. You deserve a gold star in scale model contest.

Now I have to go looking for my jaw on the floor and hoping the dog did not get it first.

Dude........................this is seriously off the charts!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Where does a guy start in complimenting this??? This needs to go behind an enclosed and dust free display on a carrier museum somewhere for God's sakes!! Five star job all the around from every angle I can see.

Oh heck yeah!!! Wonderful job here!

To quote Indiana Jones,

"That belongs in a museum."

Spectacular work.  I am very impressed with the Tomcat but what really blows me away is your work with the figures.  The first picture of them look like you have one of those miniaturization machines and you just miniaturized 3 real crewmen.  Wow, fantastic work! The carrier deck section is also very well done.

I completely agree with mustang1989.  This should be in a museum.  This is an amazing build!

Hi every one I have been jumping from build to build recently, having to wait on client instructions etc.
so here are some build shots of the , with lights etc

This is going on to a deck which is rather large, 1Meter lenght, this will enable 3 other biulds to be on the same deck

The deck is totaly scratch built
