Special Hobby 1/32 P-36A

This was done for the Pearl Harbor Group Build going on now. Alclad paints, ALC-101 mostly for the aluminum, over gloss dark blue from the Testors square bottle. A little grey was added for the control surfaces to show the difference. Montex masks were used for everything but the stars on the wings. From the box except for the masks, and an instrument decal I made up with Corel Draw and an Alps printer.

That's gorgeous. A P-40 with a radial strapped on.....nice. Maybe when my Airfix P-40B shows up I'll jump into that Group Build. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks, all. I've updated the post with new pictures, I added the pitot tube and painted the gun barrels this morning. There are some challenges with this kit but all in all it feels great to have a 1/32 P-36 in the display case.

Lawdog, I hope you do join in the PH GB. I planning on picking up an Airfix P-40B too.
