Great job on the a/c! And Gen. Howard is one of my true heroes of that conflict.

Superb work.

Looks great!

I remember Monogram had a 1:48 kit of a -B with Ding Ho decals many years ago. It was one of Monograms best, most detailed kits of the era

Thank you. Don, that monogram kit was the inspiration for this build.

I built the Monogram Kit many moons ago.

Very nice!

"Ding Hao" is fun to say! Someday, I'll do one for myself. Over 30 P-51s built and another 7 in the stash, not a one of em had those marking options.

Nice finish!  And yes, Maj. Howard's mount is my favorite Mustang, too, from having built the venerable old Monogram kit.  I built one a year or two ago, and I kept thinking about how he had to cram his 6-foot-plus frame into the cockpit.

Fantastic Ding Hao!  I too built the old school Monogram kit.  Ah, what memories!

You've nailed the exact OD effect I want to do on my Pearl Harbor P-40B.

Very, very nice indeed!

love it!

Thank you , I used Model masters faded OD over Tamiya white primer. I preshaded the panel lines with burnt umber. Love the P-40 have a few in my stash.

Now I can see it!  Good looking model.  I built the Monogram kit in the 60's and I'm pretty sure I still have it in a box in the attic.
