Academy 1/72 F-8E the "Death Angles"

I just completed my F-8 Crusader the ‘Death Angles”. This was a nice kit with a good fit and nice detail. I painted it using MM enamels, and oil pin wash for the panel lines and watered down pastels for a sludge wash.

Building a kit from your stash is like cutting a head off a Hydra, two more take it's place.

When the Angels rotated out of Nam and were stationed in Hawaii, they transitioned to the F-4J. I did this one not long ago and would look very cool if both were together though mine is 1/48.
