All finished.

I spent some time on the Rhino this past weekend. Still adding decals. Two more on the upper surfaces then on to the bottom. I was able to get the center windscreen tinted. I also worked on the resin exhaust. Quite a bit of time was consumed getting the flame holders installed. I had alot of material to remove on the inside of the burner can to get a decent fit.

The Milspec decals are preforming well for all the stencils. Thanks for the kind coments!

Hope everyone had a great Holiday! I was able to get the Rhino paint work done. Cleared with Future.

I have moved ahead with decals. The stencil sheet is from Mil-Spec. They are setteling in great.

I had a super scale sheet , the first decal shattered after a few seconds in the water. I should have sealed the sheet...

I am working from three sheets to get this one presentable.

I was inspired by the article by Patrick Hawkey in the recent (recent to me!!) special edition, Backdate a Phantom II

of "Build better model aircraft". I went ahead and cut and drooped the aielerons on my project.

   I got a decent deal on three sets of the Rhino intakes on E-Bay.

   I wasn't sure about the self adhesive PE at first and found myself falling into my usual way of adhearing the parts with pva or medium CA. The instrumennt panel parts probably did not need more adhesive,but it's there. It was nice to have the parts in their permenant position before adding glue.

nice project. Assembly looks great so far. I should really start using some resin intakes on my Phantom builds, but they cost so much and I already throw too much AM at them. Do you still use superglue on the self adhesive sets?
