This kit goes together great, good fitting everywhere and a joy to build. The best 2 kits I have done this year (and I have done heaps), have both been Hobby Boss.I used only Vallejo Metal Color for the metal work on this one, other paints used were Tamiya and Vallejo acrylics, AK Gauzy shine enhancer, Tamiya smoke thinned and air brushed over panel lines and Flory dark dirt wash.
What a fantastic build. I love the weathering you did. Very nice job!

Vallejo Metal Color is a metallizing paint I haven't heard of. How do you like it? Have you used the Alclad or the Testors Metallizer, ever? I'm just wondering how the Vallejo compares. I really need to up my game with natural metal finishes, so I'm always looking for a new product to try.

Love the finish on the Tunnan!

Outstanding work! The weathering is absolutely spot on! Well done!
Vallejo Metal Color is acrylic, nice and thin so does not need thinning to airbrush, easy to spray, and does not smell like Alclad and Gunze. I still use AK Xtreme metals as well, but the Vallejo stuff is great as well
