was going to jump in with a translation, but I see Jean already gave the English colors. But just so you know, that bottom lines says it's not suitable for children under three ;)

Thanks so much, all this info makes things much easier to understand, lol.  I purchased the kit off of eBay, and had no idea the instructions would entirely be in Chinese.  All the other kits I've come across have many different languages in the instructions.  I may just start this one next since it's all fresh in my mind and looks like a quick easy little kit.  Not a whole lot of parts to it.

Keyda- color "a" on that chart, FS 36440, is matte Light Gull Gray.

I believe the actual aircraft would be FS 16440, gloss Light Gull Gray. You can easily fix that with a gloss coat.

I like the Model Master match.

I never pay much attention to what the instructions call for. Best always to work from photos or written records, or ask here.

LOTS of color photos of FJ-4Bs, both models and real aircraft. Some real nice color schemes, too.

Most of the Furys operational life was spent in the gloss gull gray top with insignia white bottom and insignia white control surfaces. That said, the early part of their life was in dark sea blue overall with silver (natural metal) leading edges of the wings and epanedge.

The change from dark sea blue to gull gray and white happened some time in the early 1950s (1953 ?).

Thanks for the help everyone!  I'm horrible at eye balling the colors, lol.  It may be the next one I start on, haven't decided yet.

Definitely Chinese, I'd echo the color schemes from the above forum members.

Can't help with translation but here is a quick rundown on the Fury colors

Undersides, missiles, rims, wells, intake, gear legs, tanks etc are gloss white

Topsides are lt gull grey but check references for the upper parts of ailerons and flaps that may be white

Pit will be a med grey with black instruments and consoles, seat cushions are OD.

Lots of reference pictures when you google it. Hope this helps.

Oh, wow, I have no clue. I will say, though, that the main colors are really easy, such as light gull grey and white for the paint scheme, with white landing gear and gear bays. You could image search the cockpit and just replicate what you see in the photos.

You could probably check the standard US Navy colours used in the scheme.  Interior is probably zinc chromate green; is it overall dark blue or grey with white underside?

I build 1/48 scale WW2 fighters.

Have fun.

Pardon my ignorance, I'm not even positive what langauge this is in(Chinese/Korean/Japanese).  It's instructions for a Matchbox FJ-4B Fury jet.  I just need to know what colors these are so I know how to paint it.  Any help would be greatly appreciated!
