Beautiful build. I love the diorama!

ManCityFan Is the prop spinner masked or is that a decal? If masked, did the mask come with the kit?
It's the kit supplied decal. Worked great. Actually these kit decals were outstanding. I believe they are made by Cartograph in Italy but I'm not sure.
Mopar Madness My brother and sister-in-law are "garbage collectors" too! They absolutely love their jobs but they'll tell me most of the time it's a pretty thankless endeavor. I am extremely grateful to all of you that serve your communities!

Very thankless....and only getting worse. Fortunately I'm at the tail end of my career and perhaps I can eventually just build models for a living . Your thanks is appreciated.
Dwayne or Dman or just D. All comments are welcome on my builds.

Joe, another fine job you have made of it. As someone said, it's "inspirational," and it surely is. I really enjoyed and benefitted from the WIP text and photos. Thanks for it all.

1943Mike Off topic, are you a prosecutor, defense attorney, or corporate? I know from your profile in FineScale that you're a "garbage collector" (metaphorically - as you said - speaking) but what is the stressful occupation?

rooster513 Came out awesome Joe! Love the paint work. And now I'm REALLY looking forward to those Corsairs! Now you wouldn't just tease us and not take us along for the ride on those??

Thanks everyone. I must admit I'm beginning to prefer this scale. Very easy on the eyes. Indeed I will do a WIP with the first Corsair. I just started cutting sprue last night. I was going to build them both at the same time but I don't have room at the bench as I just started the new Meng P-51 as well.
Outstanding work as usual Joe. Your Works In Progress are something I have to see no matter the scale - I believe I'll learn a few techniques yet from watching threads like this.

Lawdog,
Another sweet looking build. I never thought to cut the tape that way to get the scalloped edge. I have several schemes that I want to build that call for that and now I have a method.
Your F-8 looks great, Thanks for sharing.

Hit it out of the park again! Great work.
Absolutely gorgeous.
Just outstanding!
You and several other fine modelers on this site are really to be thanked for posting WIP. They help novices like myself immensly.
Man that's a great paint job! Well done!
I'm not into German aricraft that much, but may have to take another look at this one.
Beauty of a job with it. Really like the paint work.
Joe
What an awesome build. The paint and detail are outstanding!! Happy to see you back at the bench.
