I made the mistake of thinking it's Tamiya so it must be good with this kit. Apparently it is a 1991 re-box of a 1970's something kit. So maybe in it's day it was considered good.

Decals are Printscale, otherwise it is OOB. I know the weapons load out over the top, but really the design of this kit makes it easier to put it all in.

Camo is a mix of Tamiya and Vallejo acrylics, other paints used, Gunze metalizer. Flory dark dirt wash and AK satin varnish finished off this one.

I love this experimental scheme, but I wish I had used it on a better kit.

That is gorgeous! 70's kit or not, that's beautiful work.

Very well done. The Tamiya A-10 was not the same quality we have come to expect today - I fought it for a good long time thinking it was my lack of skill. Regardless of the origins of your kit, you've done a wonderful job with it. Why not do another one with a more modern molding?

You did nice work taming that Hog. It is indeed 70's vintage. This one and one by Revell, (not the one currently boxed by them) were the first for sale in 1/48 back then.

There are several new tool kits to choose from in 1/48 today. All that glitters Tamiya is not gold.

I like the camo as well.  Nice job on doing her.  Also like the tusks on the shark mouth.

She's loaded for bear, isn't she? I've always loved the A-10.
