The build is straight forward, only found a slight misalignment with the fuselage halves.  Another little thing was the extra seam created when attaching upper and lower wings:

 Only real negatives with the kit is they did not provide aileron balances on the underside of the wings, no gunsight, and maybe the solid cast exhausts.   The kit is actually created as a snap fit, so that came in handy for attaching the exhausts and main landing gear .  No worries about glue smearing on parts as I had these prepainted.

Bish, no problem there.  I haven't tried any of Zvezda's other snap fit kits - but  the moldings on this one are nice, with very fine engraved detail.

Excellent work Jack! Very well researched and flawless painting and execution. Great job in this small scale. One of the best 109s I've seen in a long time in any scale!

You've really crossed over well from the dark-side. Love the staging and of course the great build. The Emil is the icing on the cake.

Very nice Jack.  

I've never even thought about totally removing the prop blades to simulate an in-flight A/C.   I didn't even notice it at first.   It's nicely effective !

Hey Chris, thank you! 

This was my first try at s spinning prop look by deleting the blades.  The kit already had the prop as a separate part, so that was omitted, leaving three holes to fill in.  To reintroduce some semblance of prop blur, I used some dark weathering powder around the hub.
