Very nice. I recently built the MK I and I agree with the saddle being a poor design. I wasntcrazy about the flimsy landing gears either. Thanks for sharing.

Beautiful! Love the weathering, paint fading, and general wear and tear.

Each time I look at this one I like it even more, and I thought it was great the first time around.

That's really nice work.

I am busy with one right now. Had the exact same issue with the cowling. Yours came out very well.

Beautiful, Anis, it cries out for a desert background.

Beautiful work! But shouldn't the spinner be red? That was the theater ID recognition marking color for the Allies in the Mediterranean Theater, a red spinner. Later in the war yellow wing bands were added.

Beautiful spitfire!   And I generaly am not a spitfire fan.  Mainly cuz the camo is to dark, but this scheme I really like.

I didn't know Montex masks had been around that long. They have worked well.

Hello folks !

Thanks a lot. This Airfix model is a real pleasure, if you except the cowling area wich is a bit hard to correctly glue in the right place. But that's my particuliar experience.

Concerning the masking job, I used a Montex sheet produced more than 10 years ago for the US 31st FG (308th FS), Italy, 1943. Wink
