Hey guys!
Did a WIP of this over on the modelmakers subReddit. The only reason I actually built this was for the 'Crappy Kit's Group Build'. It was not only my first Group Build, (on any platform), but it was also my first time ever using my airbrush. (If anyone's interested, my build ----> https://www.reddit.com/r/modelmakers/comments/60nus1/eastern_express_d520_crappy_kits_gb_completed/, the GB> https://www.reddit.com/r/modelmakers/comments/5nt1uk/groupbuild_crappy_kit/)
The insignia are spares from an Airfix Ju.88, the number four on the tail is from the kit's decals, and the company name and aircraft number on the tail were printed on clear decal paper on my printer. Gloss clear coat was future cut with windex, flat coat was Dullcote from a can. I used a little bit of Novus 1 to polish the canopy.
Little chipping was done with a small brush and testors Metallic Silver Enamel. Exhaust stain and slight gun residue are Tamiya Weathering Master. Since I scribed the panel lines, I used Tamiya Black Panel Line Accent Color on them.
Overall, I'm really happy with how this came out. It was my first time using an airbrush, and I am definitely sold on the tool.
