PBY 5A post war interior question.

Right... just leave out the guns and any ammo box(es) & feed chutes...

They left the machine gun mounts which is what I will do.

They could strap into them for observation in search and rescue.

This is a very fine kit PBY-999.  Unfortunatley the main canopy  back corner was poorly molded in my kit.  Almost like thin cellophane so I will have to repair or get a new one which is a kick in the head for an expensive kit.  

This is the second Revell Germany kit with a badly injection molded part.  The other being their 1/32 spitfire which they sent a replacement fuselage half (it was not reparable). But it takes over a month.

But seriously, that pretty much is the same as my pic.

There's a PBY suspended over a pond down in Balboa Park in San Diego. It was used for some of the shots in the movie of the musical "South Pacific".

Luther Billis falls out of the aircraft from that position.

Yes, I saw the party boat photos in my original search.

If anyone can help with the real thing,  please chime in.  I'd like to get it correct for a search and rescue.
