A couple weekends ago, I attended the Seattle IPMS model show at the Renton Community Center...and met Roy, the head honcho of Baracudacast. Actually...a pretty darned cool guy.
As I'd scored a new 1/72 scale Airfix EE Lightning F.2A there for....$5!!!!!!!!! I wandered to the Baracudacast stand and, not surprisingly, found some amazing resin for the kit!! SWEET!
Everything was perfect...but when I got home, I found the nose gear to be a short shot. From all the other stuff I bought from Roy....THIS....was NOT the norm.
I emailed and explained my situation, and a lovely lady named Shelly IMMEDIATELY sent me a perfect replacement, which arrived today (like.....4 DAYS after I emailed).
Seriously, folks....if you haven't checked out Baracudacast resin....DO IT. Awesome master work....I mean....astounding.
I have NO HESITATION in recommending that you check out their stuff. VERY reasonably priced....BEAUTIFUL detail....and, in my experience....GREAT customer service.
I'm going to check my stash of unbuilt kits....and then check their website....and see what other gems I can score to improve my kits.
