Good on you for your perserverance on what seems to have been a really challenging build!

It certainly looks good and I imagine it'll have a place in your displays soon.

Remind me NOT to buy this particular kit - I'm just not up to challenges as acute as you've described - kits like the Kitty Hawk Kingfisher would have ended up in my round file.

Yes, a challenging build this was!  Your words are too kind sir!  REMINDER; DO NOT PURCHASE THIS KIT!!!!!!!

It turned out quite nice, Toshi. Given the problems you had you did a great job. Hopefully, I won't have the same issues, but time will tell. Well done.

Toshi,

You have created the proverbial silk purse from a pig ear! It really came out nice. Now you can decompress and it's off to the next kit. Which is?

Steve

LOL, I agree!  My next kit is posted as Trumpeter 1/32 F4U Corsair!

Well Toshi, you did well on that kit.  After working on "challenging" kits of WW1 aircraft recently from Roden and the Encore Grumman Goose, I may take your advice and keep mine in the box for a few years.

I didn't know those kits were challenging at best.  But yes, the Kingfisher kit can wait for awhile.

Building a kit from your stash is like cutting a head off a Hydra, two more take it's place.

Added the decals and can call this finished.  Till the very end, the last parts to apply was like trying to push a square peg into a hole.  Literally!  Just an impossible task in which I had to whittle parts down to fit.

In all fairness to Kitty Hawk, I refuse to recommend this kit!  I can say positively, this is a very cool airplane once tryingly finished (PITA)!

I dressed up the wheels and painted the bombs accordingly.  Next up is to assemble and apply them to the beaching gear.  Thank you for looking.

So when you open one of your photos on Flickr, you DON'T a row of icons at the bottom right of the screen, one of which is an arrow pointing to the right that when you click it, it brings up a screen called "Share 1 photo to:" with 4 options: Share, Embed, Email, and BBCode?

This is what I see when I am in Flickr, whether on my laptop or my iPad. It is the BBCode option that I use to paste photos in my FineScale posts.

As I mentioned earlier, I see the arrow pointing to the right.  I click/tap on it and I get a Text, Email, FB, Twitter, Notes, reminder, and Flickr apps.

Then on the bottom I have save image, URL, Set cover photo.  And that's all I have.  I see nothing else hence I use the URL link for photos.  I apologize for any inconvenience.

Toshi

Toshi,

To start, the images showing up as a link is not an inconrenience. I had a look, and one potential method to get the URL is to do with the way your mouse is configured in settings on your Apple, it is a two button/one button configuration.

The second method, is just locate the image you want the URL for, hold down CONTROL (CTL) on your keyboard + click on the required image, you should be able to see a dialogue box. Select copy image location/url, then paste this data into the "insert image" on your post page here at FSM.

There is no reason, eveing being a "Mac User" why the data cant be use, it working out a way how to get it.

Good luck mate.
