Here i present one of my last job finished, this Japanese Dive Bomber of WWII.

This project started as a "express job", without anykind of extras and i had the real intention to finish as soon as possible to continue with other current job (Spitfire Vb Halcon Maltes). As you can imagine, everything turn wrong and i spent more time than i thought in the begining.

Finally i managed to finish it. I hope you like it.

Absolutely gorgeous paint work. That's one to be proud of, for sure!

Your paint work is amazing. I think the bright green around the canopy frames looks odd, but the overall results are still very stunning! Your figures in this scale are amazing as well.

The pose of the aircraft itself is just awesome! It imparts a sense of motion that is kinda crazy TBH lol. The aircraft appears to be careening out of control, with the plane in the air on one wheel, and the pilot waving his hands in the air and not on the controls.

I' m sure you are not intending to impart a sense of comedy in this build and I seriously mean no disrespect or offense in any way. And having said that I also want you to know that I see some serious talent in this build. I wouldn't change a single thing about it. Not one thing!

Your build not only represents a serious amount of talent in many areas, but it is fantastically unique and is a joy to look at.

I mean, those figures! Dayum man! That's a serious talent by itself.

Whatever you have on the bench next, I'll be waiting to see it. You've got vision.

So in conclusion, please don't think I'm being in any way negative about this. I am not. I'd love to see more of your work. :)

That is a superb piece of art sir!  I love the weathering and the wooden flight deck.  My favorite picture/photo has to be the ones that depict the aircraft taking off the wooden deck.

How did you do that I know not.  I'll check your blog out and to see how the build went.  Thank you for the extent of the photos and especially  the tail of which you did a phenominal job, I'm most impressed by this build!

Thank you very much for these kind words M Brindos!!

jejee yes, i agree with you! I always find something different or original in my works. With this Val, i tried to show just in the moment of arriving to the aircraft carrier ... with a lot of motion sense and accompanied by the feeling of euphoria of the pilots. I use to give more priority to the esthetic / artistic point of view than the "realistic" one. jejeje yes .. it a little bit funny composition!!

On the other hand ... in this work i tried to replicate the same complexity work of the weathering painting that you can see in 1/32 or 1/48 scale ... to 1/72 scale. I find some problems ... but i finish very happy with it!

again .. thank you very much for your comments .. i really appreciate it!

This is an amazingly realistic work of art. How you got the model balanced on one wheel has me scratching my head .

Oh wow that is amazing!

Love the faded paint on the tail insignia and absolutly love the 'moment of touch-down' pose! I wish I'd thought of that!!!

jejee It wasn't very difficult! Just i put a little piece of hard wire into the wheel and i fix it with the aircraft carrier deck. The only thing that i need to do to give more credibility was to do the "weight effect" in the tire, sanding just in the correct angle of the wire.

I have a image  ...

I think you can see more or less how it works.

Thanks a lot Gamera!! For me ... a very importat part of each proyect is the planning. To think in all this kind of thing before to start is crucial! Everyone can do something similar with a little of imagination and patience!!
