I think Joe already said it best. Very nice Corsair O! Beautifully painted and well weathered. I'll probably be browsing Sprue Bros after posting this. ;)
You did her right! =D

That Corsair is a true pleasure to look at. Nicely done!

Hey Patrick,
Thanks for the pat on the back. To answer your question, I use an Iwata HP-CS for my basic airbrushing. For detail work, I use a Badger 100. Both are connected to a large 8 gallon shop compressor. I'm looking into getting a small dedicated hobby compressor, but I haven't had the money in the modeling budget.
Hope that answers your question. Thanks for stopping by.

Perfection!
Did you ever consider adding a bomb or fuel tank for an added bit of interest?
That looks great, well done.

Beautifully done mate, the painting is excellent.
I'm finally retired. Now time I got, money I don't.

O,
You nailed another one! Outstanding build!

Great work! Great paint and weathering. I'm a little nervous building a zero with such realistic Corsairs flying around.
Hey, O -
Another really nicely done Corsair, the finish, weathering and detailing are first rate. Your airbrushing skills look great, what rig do you use? The enamel paint worked well for you, for health reasons I switched to acrylic, but I miss the old MM enamels.
Thanks for the text and photos, super job.

Hey FSM,
This is the third and final installment of my Pacific Warriors mini group build. It's another Tamiya Corsair, but this time it's built as a generic USMC -1A. The plane number and kill markings are from my spares box. The national insignia are from the kits sheet and reacted pretty well to MicroSol and Set. Aside from resin wheels and seat, the plastic is out of the box. I did make a new light for the spine, new wingtip lights, a new light for the tip of the tail, and a new light for the top of the right wing. Everything's painted with Testors and MM enamels and weathered with pastels and Flory washes. Oh, you eagle-eyed modelers will notice that the underwing formation lights are missing. They've since been added.
Here are a few pictures for you to view. I shot a few more than the other two builds, only because I'm pretty happy with this 3-footer. Here are some pictures for you to enjoy.
Thanks for following my mini-GB! Feel free to question, comment, or criticize. Your feedback is welcome.
Cheers!
