Fuselage Seams on Bf109 F4?

Is this seam line also on G models?  I have an old 1/32 Revell G-6 that I want to do as the 30th Infantry Division's aircraft as per Cornelius Ryan's "The Last Battle".

 

Yup, all 109's...goes for the 262, 210/410, 110, 108 as well...seems to be a pattern in the Messerschmidt designs!

Just a helpful tip for those seams/panel lines...you can scrape a slight bevel along each fuse half, (where those panel lines should be)...2 light scrapes on each side should be just enough to leave a perfect panel line when the halves are joined. That way, you don't have to try to scribe them in later.

 

That's a good idea fermis. I'll have to try that on my next 109. Already had the fuselage glued together before reading this:)

Yes for years ive been eliminating the parting line on my bf's till i learned it that out ..if there's no need for filler ..id just leave it..just sanding the weld is good enough.

Rooster - Yes, that's correct.  There is a seam line along the spine and underside of the fuselage.   On the top side, it will run from the rear of the canopy to the front of the tail plane section.  There's another short section of seam on top between the prop ring and the gun covers.  On the underside, it runs from the rear of the tail spar to the tail plane just beyond the tail wheel.
