Theuns

No those are full size. Just to show how the rigging wires go.

For interest sake, here is a DH 82 Tiger port bottom wing I built about 2 months ago for a cleint.

Don't let Theuns fool you. He's just good and can make a model look real.

Building a kit from your stash is like cutting a head off a Hydra, two more take it's place.

Wow, did you build those? They look gorgeous! How did you do the prop spinning?

Theuns

Very cool builds, I recall that Tiger form way back when :-)

Just as a metter of interest, on the Tiger the flying wires run from the top inside of the interplane struts (as you have them  there) to the bottom of the fuselage side , just above the top of the bottom wing leading edge.

From what I can see the landing wires you got right, they go from the top of the bottom wings, at the interplane struts to the bottom of the rear fuel tank mound.

Theuns

Thanks so much for your kind compliments, Theuns. I have no idea about how the flying wires run. My builder said that it's difficult to do, he had to drill holes to do the wiring.

Nice! It looks like the Tigermoth's skin is actually painted metal. Good paint job on the Otaki kit.

Thanks so much for your kind comments, Brynn.

Toshi

I must admit I’m smitten by the BI-Plane.  As I’ve never built one.  Maybe one day.  lol

Toshi

Me too. Bi-planes need rigging/cabling which is difficult for me. "Art Instructor" also don't like them. After building the Tiger Moth he told me that if there are more bi-planes to build, he prefers one kit only. I told him there are no more bi-planes for him to build. I got around 2 dozens of small WWI bi-planes from my friend and I'll have another artist named "Joh" build them.

Thanks so much for your kind words, Toshi. This time around "Art Instructor" my main armor modeler has proved that apart from nice armors he could build nice warplanes too.

OK, the Corsair is your favorite and Devil Dawg's too.

That's funny, and you did beat him to it. Thanks so much for your kind compliments, but all these planes are the work of my main armor modeler named "Art Instructor". My own works cannot compare:
