You've made a really nice job of that, and I agree with comments regarding the prop.

In the queue: 1/48 Beech Staggerwing (RAAF), P38 (RAAF), Vultee Vengeance (RAAF), Spitfire Vb (Malta), Spitfire VIII x2 (RAAF), P39 x2 (RAAF), Martin Baltimore (Malta?), Martin Maryland (Malta), Typhoon NF1b, Hellcat x2 (FAA)

Very nice Fokker!! I didn't know they had lap and shoulder harnesses back then. I thought it was mostly a rope for the lap. Maybe I need to recheck my history? Indifferent

In any case you sure turned out a beauty.

Just as a purely friendly FYI...the era of 'rope as lap belt' passed pretty quickly. Once a pilot or two had nearly slid out of their cockpit during an energetic bank in combat maneuvering, they realized they needed something a bit more secure.

The Germans were the first to use shoulder harnesses on a widespread basis, fairly late in the war; the Allies didn't seem to catch on (for the most part) until just before (or into) WW2.

Truly excellent triplane build!

You know you may be right. These PE parts came with the kit but I guess we can’t always trust that can we? It didn’t even cross my mind until I saw you mention it but I do believe you are correct. Oh well..Oops

That aint a biggie at all. I just was looking at it and it caught my eye. You've got yourself a model to be proud of bubba. Yes

Beautiful!  Love the paint tone and sheen.  Very, very nice.

I'm about to use game color for a mini-cooper- did you airbrush?  How did you thin?  First time using them

Keavdog, yeah I airbrushed using a 2:1 (2 being paint, I used Vallejo’s airbrush thinner). They lay down very nice, I think you will be pleased.

It's difficult to make a solid color like the red pop but you Sir, did it for sure. Very well done Yes Beer

Thanks.. Yeah I was wondering the same thing. I used Vallejo game color bloody red followed by some thinned Tamiya smoke on the ribs. I was pleased with how it turned out
