A very nice plane to build.  I decided not to to use the kit decals for the invasion stripes  12mm flexible tamiya tape worked very well

Thats nicely done, i like the finish on it. Good idea to paint the stripes.

Very nice build.

That's a great kit too.

Often not realized is that twin engine fighters, like the Beau and the P-38, had the wider 24" stripes, your 1/2" tape.

Really well done.

 Modeling is an excuse to buy books.

I measured the kit decals for the stripes and was surprised that Tamiya had a flexible tape with that width. I had zero bleed through and it adapted to the curves very nicely
