Nice looking airplane. I like the weathering on the underside.

Greatmaker

It was pleasure to build

Agreed.  This was one of the nicest and best fitting kits I've built.  Really nice work on yours, Greatmaker.

Very well done! I have to agree, the painted invasion stripes are stunning!

I have this kit in the stash. Good tip to use. Mike

I measured the kit decals for the stripes and was surprised that Tamiya had a flexible tape with that width. I had zero bleed through and it adapted to the curves very nicely

Very nice build.

That's a great kit too.

Often not realized is that twin engine fighters, like the Beau and the P-38, had the wider 24" stripes, your 1/2" tape.

Really well done.

Modeling is an excuse to buy books.

Thanks Stik. I’m glad I painted them instead of using the decals. This model was such a pleasure to build after a disastrous Hs-123

A very nice plane to build.  I decided not to to use the kit decals for the invasion stripes  12mm flexible tamiya tape worked very well
