Nice work!  That Revell F/A-18E was the first kit I built when I got back into modeling about 10 years ago!

Thanks everyone!  I really did just enjoy playing around with the P-47.  It was a lot less stressful, because I wasn't concerned about screwing something up.  I guess I should do more kits like that.

The weather around here shows no sign of breaking into anything close to spring-like, so I'm sure I'll be at the bench a lot.

That's the best way to learn...experiment on cheap kits. That's what I did until I thought I pull off a fancy kit. Those turned out great.

That's quite a nice "Jug", Keyda. Mean looking as can be.

Keep up the good work, and get outside too.

Modeling is an excuse to buy books.

I didn't land up doing a WIP with any of these.  Got to carried away most of the time and totally forgot to take pics.  But I thought I would share the completed birds.

I tried a few different things with the Thunderbolt.  It's a cheap Revell kit, which I figured was the perfect kit to play around with some weathering techniques.  See what works for me and what doesn't.  I had a lot of fun building it.  I didn't care about a perfect paint job, or making mistakes.  The flash on the pictures seems to have washed out a lot of the chipping, and dirt, but you get the idea.

I only managed to take one pic of the F/A-18 Super Hornet.  It was an okay build.  Had quite a bit of fit issues, but came out alright.

The latest completion.  Minicrafts WC-130J.  I'm really starting to like these little Hercs!  My biggest complaint is how the windscreen fits.  It requires careful sanding, and some putty.  I do like the kits though, and I needed to add a J model to the collection!

Hope everyone has been well!  Cabin fever is setting in pretty harshly with me.  I've been a bit of a grump lately!  Lol.
