Thanks again. Yes my A/B was very close to the model when I did the freehand camo. I also lower the compressor pressure to ~10 psi, dialed down my airbrush, and used a mixture of 50/50 thinner & paint.

Very impressive camo work. Nice build altogether.

You said: " I freehand airbrushed the winter camo after decals."

How the heck did you do that? You must have been 1/8" from the fuselage with your A/B to have gone around numbers, insignia, swastika, etc. My question lets you know I'm not that experienced a modeler but I just can't figure out how you had so much control.... or am I missing an obvious technique of some sort?

The Stuka turned out great! That is my favorite camo since seeing " Where Eagles Dare" as a pup. I have the same Hase kit with the intentions of doing the same paint job. Good  to hear few fit issues. Did the Revell just to try scheme and it turned out ok, just wanted to smash the kit while building it! That's what is going to happen anyways after I do the Hase. I like the free hand airbrushing, don't think I am brave enough to try it. Again, great work!

Thank you friends. The Hasegawa kit is good and parts fitting are also good. I didn't have any issue building it up. I freehand airbrushed the winter camo after decals. The only time consuming is masking all 4 pieces of canopy for painting :)

The camo looks great! I'll echo the others and ask how you did it and how the kit was.

Really nice looking build.  Great job on the camouflage.  What was your technique for applying the winter camo?

And I too would like to know how this build was.  I don't have this aircraft in my stash yet and am looking to add it.

Thanks for posting.
