Outstanding! You did a nice job on the preshading too.

It's actually post shading... no preshading was done. Wanted to try something different for this one.

Ole

Thanks for your replies...much appreciated! I usually build up the camo in layers, adding a bit of white to the paint and thin it further to get the faded look. The kit came with a camo template that was easy to cut and apply to the surfaces. A bit of Blutac to fasten them and help with the feathering on the edges did the trick.

Thanks for the tip. Ah ”layers” my old nemesis

She’s a real beauty. Despite my best efforts I seem to always get too heavy a coat on the camo. Yours is fantastic! Thanks for sharing

Here is another recently completed model. Built straight from the box with no modifications at all. Awesome kit, perfect fit and nice details. Blame the modeler on any discrepancies.

Finished using Gunze/Mr. Hobby paints primarily. Light weathering and fading, but tried to keep this one clean.

The plane is from the 272nd Squardon, Malta 1942
