How about scratching out the part from plastic sheet?

    Airfix was ready to assist, however they only take Pound Sterling,( British Pound), and it was for a kit currently oop. Folks were friendly via the e-mails. The only issue I had was on my end securing the proper currency.

I know armornut contacted them last year about missing parts, but as Phil suggested he had to contact them on this side of the pond.
