The Tamiya spray paints are their take on some of the RLM colors. They have not in bottle equivelands currently. You will have to mix them or use an alternate brand. 

Gray Violet is usually RLM 75

Light Blue should be RLM 65, but could be RLM 76

Gray Green should be RLM 02

Also are these RLM colors in 10ml bottles? And are the acrylics? Sorry I’m used to work with Revell paints and I recently switched to the tamiya paints.

RLM 74 = Revell Matt 69

RLM 75 = Revell Matt 47

Life Color is a different brand than Vallejo. Vallejo has their own take on RLM colors. If you have access to Humbrol paints, they now have RLM colors as well.

If you really want to use Tamiya paints, you'll have to mix up the equivalent of the RLM colours using the available paints.

I eventually bought these 3 vallejo RLM Colors 

• Light Greygreen vallejo 71044 RLM 02

• Light Blue vallejo 71257 RLM76

• Grey Violet vallejo 71259 RLM75

I hope these are the right ones, correct me if I’m wrong. 

also, can anyone tell me if I can thin vallejo paints with tamiya XF-20 thinner?

You have to use Vallejo's own thinner. Tamiya thinner is alcohol based and alcohol turns Vallejo paint into a gummy mess. I learned that the hard way.

Since you are building an Emil, I am curious as to what paint scheme that you are going with? The Emil was built before the 74/75/76 camo scheme came along. Their production and service time spanned the time from 65/70/71 to the introduction of Gray 02 replacing one of the 70/71 upper greens, and later field mixed grays of the Battle of Britain that were the forerunners of 74/75/76.

As Clint already said, no.

Since you are new to this whole acrylic paint thing, I have a suggestion for you. Whenever you find yourself ordering a new brand of paint, order some of their own thinner too.

In the time I've been here, I've sure read of a bunch of airbrushing trouble caused by playing Mr Wizard with thinning acrylics. And Vallejo in particular is very unforgiving.

Vallejo is one of the few companies that produce chipset accurate paints for RLM, RAL and BS plus the American FS standard.

for the exterior of the E4 you need RLM 70/71 for the upper surface. And RLM 65 for the lower surface.

the E4 came into service during the latter stages of the Battle of Britain (late September 1940). You can also replace either or RLM70 or RLM 71 with RLM 02 which, is also the cockpit colour which changed in early 1941 to RLM 66.

by the time the major colour change came in the 109 was into the beginning of the F variant with some very late E7's showing 74/75/76.

Vallejo do paint sets that have these colours.

you should not need to dilute vallejo paints and if you do normal tap water will do just as well as the thinner will. Spray around 18-20 psi but take it down to 12-15 when doing close work.

I’m going with this Paint sheme, 

the paint list included with this kit says that I should use the colors that I bought. 

so Are the colors that tamiya says me to use wrong? or did I just buy the wrong RLM colors?

Dutch-Modeler-I guess another question is when you say Vallejo, is that Vallejo (which is brush friendly) or Vallejo ModelAir, which is air brush friendly...but the use of their thinner does help.

 

I think I bought the airbrush friendly, but I‘m Not sure. I think I have to order some Vallejo thinner as well...

You did. The ones you've listed are "71"s, which are ModelAir colours. Also, the ModelAir range has black caps, whereas the ModelColor range (for brush painting) has white caps.

As always with Vallejo paints, a primer coat is recommended as their adhesion to bare styrene isn't the best.
