Haven't posted a build on here for a while, so here goes. Accurate Miniature single seat IL-2 in winter white wash finish, OOB except for the belts. Always wanted to a white wash airplane with the stuff wearing away.

Nice build! I like the faded look, kind of like winter fading into spring? Or maybe this thing just got beat to hell on the Soviet front...
While this aircraft did get the Tamiya treatment, I feel like it has been largely relegated to the back many people’s minds. Glad to see you did it justice.
Thanks for sharing!
Thanks everyone for the comments.
Rad, totally agree, but the accurate miniature kits are still very nice and can be had for 1/2 the cost of the Tamiya.
Toshi, always nice to hear from you. Hope you and your wife are well.
Very nice build, I really like the winter weathering scheme!
Fantastic work! I too love that whitewash, outstanding!

I’ve got two in the stash so I’m totally on board.
AM was a great model manufacturer. Love their early Mustangs!
Thanks Gamera, always nice to hear from you
