Sorry for the double post. (My actual post is below...) After registering, I was told by the automated system that my first post would require to be approved by whatever staff there is on this site, and that it would take 24 hours.

After 24 hours had passed and nothing had happened, I guessed that something with my registration might have gone awry, so I tried it again. Again no luck. Oh well. Funny thing is, both posts, although some 24 hours apart, were acknowledged at the same time, not with a 24 hour interval.

Anyway, unlike I say in my post, the B-17 model isn't out yet, but due to be released this month. It is, however, available for pre-order already. And if it is so far along its way already, I wonder why everybody seemed to be oblivious to it as shortly as two months ago.

"Easy! Ya just don't lead 'em so much!"

Me too!! What's up about a new 1/48 B-17?

Ever elusive, meaning we desperately want one, but companies keep making new Bf 109s instead.  My point was that we desperately wanted a new P-38 and we finally got one.  Maybe someone will tackle the ole 17 eventually.

HK Models' 1/48 B-17G is already out  and should be available via the usual suspects. I admit I also only was aware of their 1/32 stuff, until I recently saw a shop listing and thought, wow, that's pretty cheap for a 1/32 four-engined bomber :D
