Trying to get my plastic bashing groove back and found this ancient thing in the stash. Evil bay find from long ago and wanting something easy and fun this fit the bill. Decals were toast so grabbed up a set from Eagle and decided to do Weiss 6 Lt Salffners mount from 7/JG300. I did'nt spend time scratch building or upgrading, its oob except the wing cannon barrels. Since I was'nt too concerned about making a show grade build I also used it as a test Mule to try out Mr Color enamel paints and AK panel liner, both worked great. Cheers Trey

Turned out great Trey. I second the AK stuff.....makes modeling much easier.

Thanks Joe appreciate the kind words.  I was needing to try new product and was not dissapointed with either, Thinking I need to tone down the weathering a tad on the next build , it was so fun working with the new stuff I got carried away

Hello!

Lookin' nice, although the markings are a little "Greek", if you know what I'm saying :D

One thing - you wrote Weib 6, that's a little funny, too, Weib means "Woman" in German. Of course it was "Weiß", but that funny sign, "ß" is not a b - it's actually a special "s" and in a pinch is written as "ss", so taht would make it "Weiss" - no mistaking this as "white" now.

Sorry for taking so long - thanks for sharing and have a nice day

Paweł

Very nicely done especially on such a classic kit!  What a great job you’ve done.
